I take skincare very seriously, I even got Payton onto a skincare routine. Just washing your face can make all the difference in your skin. Even if I am completely exhausted I make sure to do this routine every night. I switch up the products I use often but I try to stick to the same kind of routine. The products I recommend here are ones that are available at your local store and/or affordable. So let's start.

Remove Makeup. I start off with my Make Up Eraser. I use this to take off as much makeup as I possibly can. I use this in place of makeup wipes, since its reusable.

Cleanse. Next I use an oil cleanser. I use this oil cleanser and it works great. This helps remove any leftover makeup and dirt. You can try this one for a more lightweight option.

Cleanse part 2. I then use a gentle foaming cleanser. I switch up my cleanser more than anything else because there are a few I like and I'm always wanting to try new ones, but I usually use a gentle foaming cleanser. Make sure to use a cleanser for your skin type so if you have acne prone skin maybe use an acne cleanser, if you have oily skin try an oil free cleanser. Figure out what works best for you.

Exfoliate. I don't have a favorite exfoliating product, so I usually end up standing in the skincare aisle of target for 5 minutes trying to decide which one I think is best. Heres a couple to try that I like; CeraVe Salicylic Acid Cleanser, Cetaphil Extra Gentle Dailey Scrub, Bliss Micro Magic.

Toner. If you don't use toner I highly recommend using it. You might think your face is clean until you use toner and see all the extra dirt come off. I recommend using an alcohol free and gentle toner. You don't want to strip all of the oil from your skin. Here are some to try; Bliss Rose Gold Rescue Toner Mist, La Roche-Posay Effaclar Astringent Face Toner, Pixi by Petra Retinol Tonic.

Serum. Next is time for any serums you might use. There is a serum for just about everything so find the perfect one for your skin. I like some of these Pixi Skintreats Overnight Glow Serum, RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum.

Moisturizer/Cream. The last step, I always, always use a moisturizer. Which moisturizer you should use is based on your skin type. So for example if my skin is extremely dry I like to use one like this, or try one like this for aging. Also this would be the time to use your eye cream.

When using your cleanser, massage it into your face for at least 60 seconds, if you have the time. This will ensure you get a deeper clean. I promise this makes all the difference. After the first time I started cleaning my face like this my skin was instantly softer. I do this for all of my products now.

When rinsing your face make sure you rinse all of the cleanser off before moving on to the next step. This sounds simple but sometime if I'm not careful I realize there is still soap on my face and you want to completely rinse your face before moving on to the next step.

About once a week I will do a face mask. I like to use the sheet masks because they are gentle on the skin but I also use clay masks as well. I wouldn't recommend using the peel off masks because they could do more damage than good.

For spot treatments I have been using these patches lately.
