Sometimes you just need a snack. That time between breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner can be hard to get through without a little something. I get it, I love snacking and if I can make a healthy snack I love it even more. You just feel so much better eating something healthy instead of something sugar filled. The issue I run into though, is not wanting to take the time to actually make anything. It is so much easier to grab a snack bag of chips over something fresh you might have to put some work into. So to avoid heading to the cookie jar between meals, here are 20 healthy snack ideas you can easily take with you anywhere.
Avocado with salt, pepper, and lemon
This is my go-to and absolute favorite.
Hummus and pretzel crips
To make this even healthier use veggies instead of pretzels.
Chicken patty and hummus
I like to use the meatless chicken patties, especially the buffalo flavor.
Hard-boiled Eggs
Make a couple at a time to save for a quick snack later.
Spicy Avocado
Just an avocado with some Tajin seasoning. You could definitely use your own spicy seasoning though.
Apples and Peanut Butter
Or any nut butter.
Fresh Fruit
I prefer a banana or some berries.
Popcorn
This is my recent go-to snack.
Salami and Cheese
You can cut up your own or buy packs of prepackaged salami and cheese at the grocery store.
Nuts/Seeds
Get some trail mix for some variety.
Yogurt
Add some berries and granola to brighten it up.
Veggie Chips
You can make your own or buy a mix.
Rice Cakes
These come in all kinds of flavors so they're perfect for any kind of craving.
A sweet treat you can totally customize.
Smoothie
Mix up a smoothie with all your favorite fruits, greens, and more.
Guacamole
Eat with chips or veggies.

Eat with tortilla chips!

Such an easy snack to take with you on the go.
Turkey and Cheese Roll Ups
